The company behind SmartOps GH
Route-IT Solutions is the engineering company. SmartOps is the system it builds. One team designs it, installs it, trains your staff on it and answers the phone when something needs attention — there is no handover to a third party, because there is no third party.
We started in Takoradi in 2019 doing cameras, networks and access control. We write business software now because we spent years watching owners lose money in the exact places their reports never showed them.

Minta-Arthur Jude
Founder & lead engineer
I didn't come to this from a classroom. I spent years as the IT man on the floor — keeping a hotel's systems and cameras up, then a gaming venue's, then quarry networks out in the bush. That is where I learned what actually breaks: not the software, but the gap between what the system says and what really happened at the counter.
You deal with me directly, from the first site visit to the call at closing time.

Small studio. National footprint.
Every system we build runs on our own hosting, on its own web address with its own database, so a shop in Accra and a farm gate in Wassa Akropong are supported the same way — remotely, the same day, without anyone driving anywhere. Being small is why you get the engineer instead of a ticket number.
Book a walkthrough- Eleven client systems live in production
- Accra, Kumasi, Wassa Akropong and the Western Region
- Nightly backups, kept off the server
- Every system watched from one operations board
Scope first. Money in stages. No surprises.
How every engagement runs, from the first visit to the day your staff stop asking us questions.
- 01
Discovery, on your floor
We sit in your shop or on your site and watch how the work is really done — who takes cash, who takes stock, where the leaks are. You get written notes, not a sales visit.
- 02
Written scope and quotation
Exactly what is included, what is excluded and what it costs. One document. If something is not in it, it is not in the price.
- 03
Setup deposit, then build
A deposit opens your system — your own web address, your own database, your catalogue loaded from your own price list. Build work starts after that, never before.
- 04
Training on the real thing
Your staff learn on your data, not a demo. Every person gets their own login and only the screens their job needs.
- 05
Go-live, then we stay
Balance falls due at go-live. A modest monthly fee covers hosting, nightly backups, monitoring and support — it is not rent on your own data.
Three things we won't do
The promises that cost us work, and keep the clients we have.
Show your business to your competitor
We never demonstrate one client's live system to another. Prospects see a neutral demo instance built for that purpose. Your prices, stock and customers stay yours — it is written into our contract.
Rent you software you never own
A cheap monthly-only subscription is rent: stop paying and you have nothing. You pay to have a system built, then a modest fee to keep it hosted, backed up and supported.
Promise what isn't built yet
If your trade needs something we have not built, we say so and quote it as work. Everything we show you is running today and can be opened in front of you.
